Based on the highly successful Brodmann 7ft 5in model design, the AS 227 is a completely hand built piano and uses only the highest quality materials in the piano’s construction. Beginning with using 3mm Maple laminations to construct the rim sections, the rim has lasting strength to help deliver the powerful sound. The finest Canadian spruce soundboards and ribs are used (Bolduc). Full Renner actions and Hammers and Kluge keyboards from Germany underlines the quality that is built into the piano. The pin block used is a top quality Bolduc 5 ply laminate from Canada.

The craftsmen that build and assemble this instrument have years of experience in finishing a piano of this quality to the highest level, and all pianos are personally checked by Brodmann’s own technicians in Vienna before they are finally shipped to their destination.
